Rooftop Unit (RTU) Service and Repair in Greater Vancouver
Rooftop package units stay out of sight until the sales floor is too warm to shop in. We service, repair and maintain RTUs for strip retail, offices, warehouses and light industrial across Greater Vancouver — scheduled filter and belt programs that keep them running, and a 24/7 emergency line for the day one stops.

Roof access, done safely
Rooftop work is height work, and height work is where corners get cut. We plan access before the visit — hatch or ladder, anchor points, guardrail or fall arrest — and work to WorkSafeBC requirements with the coverage behind it. If your roof has no compliant anchor or the access route is unsafe, we will tell you and hold off until it is put right — that work belongs to a roofing or fall-protection specialist, not to us, and we would rather wait than go up regardless.
Filters and belts are most of the game
Most rooftop failures we attend trace back to something that costs a few dollars: a loaded filter starving airflow, a glazed belt slipping, a condenser coil packed with cottonwood and roof grit. On a scheduled program those get changed against a calendar, coils get washed, drains get cleared and amp draws get logged — and the expensive parts downstream stop failing early.
One point of contact across a portfolio
A property manager running several buildings does not need seven contractors and seven invoice formats. We inventory the units across your sites, tag them, hold the service history per asset, and report after every visit with what was done and what is trending toward failure — so capital planning runs on records instead of on whatever broke most recently.
Rooftop Units — common questions
Still not sure? Call (778) 866-4247 and talk to a real technician.
Twice a year is the baseline — once before cooling season and once before heating — with filter changes more often depending on the filter, the site and the use. Restaurants, gyms and buildings near construction usually need a shorter interval.
Yes, and for retail and hospitality we prefer it. Most rooftop work happens entirely on the roof, so it can be done outside opening hours with no disruption to the space below.
Yes. Most of the rooftop equipment we maintain was installed by someone else. The first visit is an inventory and condition report, so you know what is actually up there and what shape each unit is in.
Call the emergency line. We target 90 minutes on site across the Lower Mainland, and repair work starts only once you have approved a written quote. Where a unit is beyond economic repair we price the replacement and talk through the options for keeping the space usable in the meantime.
